Christine Thesiger
Glenfield

Reflexology and feet have always fascinated Christine, so she attended a weekend introductory course in Auckland and then undertook and completed her diploma. All this time doing reflexology on friends, family, neighbours and work colleagues to help them in many and varied ways.  She realised that reflexology has a positive impact on both the body and the mind in surprising and often unexpected ways.

Christine also offers, Foot Joint Mobilisation. This technique can relieve feet that are painful when standing or walking.  Foot pain can stimulate aches in other parts of the body - knees, hips and lower back, and the mind can struggle to focus.  Our feet take huge bodily pressure and are our foundations which need to be stable and pain free for us to move and live freely and comfortably.

Judith Howe
Point Chevalier/Mt Albert/Westmere/Te Atatu

Judith describes herself as a passionate reflexologist! Having worked in her clinic part time for over 20 years she has much experience to offer. What she believes is the most rewarding aspect of the modality is that almost everybody who comes for a reflexology treatment leaves feeling better.

Judith qualified with the International Institute of Reflexology (USA) an internationally recognised qualification, taught through a NZ training institution. Since that time she has kept up her studies and has completed additional training in a variety of other reflexology styles including  Somatic, Ayurvedic, Reflexognosy, Vertical and Hands and Ear reflexology. The most recent is comprehensive training in Zu Qigong, based on the energy flow of Qigong but practiced on the feet. Many have found this style to be profoundly relaxing with its gentle approach, while restorative and energising at the same time. You can see that there are several different training techniques in her “reflexology toolbox” to tailor make a session specific to the client’s requirements. Judith is also a Service Provider for the Sweet Louise Foundation and is experienced in treating women undergoing treatment for cancer.

Kathy believes reflexology offers a unique, powerful treatment which can bring better health to the body, mind and soul. The feet are a mirror of the body and the body relates to a map on the feet. Kathy’s belief is that a relaxed and balanced body cannot experience a negative emotion! As well as Reflexology, Kathy also offers massage and Bowen therapy at her clinic.
