Christine Thesiger
Glenfield

Reflexology and feet have always fascinated Christine, so she attended a weekend introductory course in Auckland and the following year undertook and completed her diploma, a few years later reaching professional status.  All this time doing reflexology on friends, family, neighbours and work colleagues to help them in many and varied ways.  She realised that reflexology has a positive impact on both the body and the mind in surprising and often unexpected ways.

Reflexology reduces stress and induces deep relaxation. Stress of every-day life can have a detrimental effect on your body's natural ability to keep you healthy.  Our bodies are designed to be well and reflexology is a wonderful way to take time out to help yourself be well and de-stressed  – naturally.

Christine also offers, Foot Joint Mobilisation. This technique can relieve feet that are painful when standing or walking.  Foot pain can stimulate aches in other parts of the body - knees, hips and lower back, and the mind can struggle to focus.  Our feet take huge bodily pressure and are our foundations which need to be stable and pain free for us to move and live freely and comfortably.

Kathy believes reflexology offers a unique, powerful treatment which can bring better health to the body, mind and soul. The feet are a mirror of the body and the body relates to a map on the feet. By using the hands to apply gentle pressure to the feet,  it creates channels for healing energy to circulate to all parts of the body.
